It's got very precise turn in and steering, although the stock "touring" struts don't do much for me. I've now 22mm front and rear swaybars that i have yet to autox on and polyrethane bushings. I'm working on getting a set of Konis that came with the competition suspension and stiffer springs. I'd say I do pretty well against other cars with better prepared suspension.

The SCCA model BTW is called the ACR, and it's still available for the 2001 neons.

i would never get lightweight 16 or 17 inch wheels for one reason: the tires weigh a buttload. my bro got some 17" subzeros, and each kumho tire weights MORE than each wheel. it's insane. i think each tire was almost like 20 pounds when we weighed them. biggest i'll go is 15 http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'd like to say something nice about the neon...other than its got really good gearing in 1st and 2nd, it turns in faster and feels a little stiffer (chassis wise) than a civic...but I can't bring myself to say anything good about his car.
